On our second night back in Columbus I took my parents to Ohio Theatre. This historic landmark is just around the corner from our apartment and is one of the state’s busiest performing art facilities.

We had tickets to Columbus Symphony Orchestra Symphony Fantastique. A fantastic show but with the jetlag a bit hard to stay awake for the entire performance 😛

The building itself is worth the visit. The Spanish-Baroque architecture theatre opened in 1928 as a “palace for the average man” according to the Scottish-born architect Thomas W. Lamb. And the interior really made you feel like you were spending a night at the palace.
